- • The Senior Commercialization Manager at Velera plays a pivotal role in driving the successful launch and adoption of financial technology solutions across more than 4,000 financial institutions in North America, ensuring that innovative products are effectively commercialized to support client growth and organizational goals.
- • This role leads enterprise-wide initiatives and special projects, serving as a strategic project manager who coordinates cross-functional efforts to deliver complex product rollouts on time, within scope, and with measurable impact.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include supporting other Commercialization Managers through onboarding and process improvement, leading Communities of Practice to ensure consistent delivery standards, and spearheading special initiatives requiring collaboration with vendors, clients, and senior leadership.
- • The position involves training business units on commercialization principles, overseeing stakeholder communication regarding project status, risks, and readiness, and developing new processes to enhance efficiency, transparency, and methodological consistency across product launches.
- • Key duties include leading project governance, developing and managing timelines and success criteria, maintaining detailed project documentation, and delivering leadership reports on status, issues, risks, milestones, and decisions.
- • The role facilitates seamless service delivery across product activities, drives continuous improvement by documenting and implementing process enhancements, and escalates risks and dependencies to ensure timely resolution.
- • It requires identifying and resolving issues through cross-functional problem-solving, holding team members accountable for task completion, and ensuring all commercialization activities comply with organizational policies and procedures.

🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and/or minimum eight years of product/project management and/or client experience
- • Seven (7) plus years of project management experience, or equivalent required
- • Proven track record of delivering projects on time while managing multiple projects simultaneously
- • Thorough knowledge of the financial services industry and related products and processes
- • Expert organizational, risk management, time management, and project management skills
- • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, verbal, and communication skills
