- • Senior Commissioning Manager leading the commissioning team for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) projects across Australia, ensuring safe, timely, and compliant delivery of critical energy infrastructure.
- • Oversee end-to-end commissioning activities including system testing, integration, performance validation, and handover of BESS assets to operations teams.
- • Collaborate with engineering, construction, and project management teams to resolve technical issues, enforce safety standards, and optimize system performance during pre-commissioning and commissioning phases.
- • Mentor and develop junior engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of technical excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement within the commissioning function.
- • Ensure compliance with Australian electrical standards, grid codes, and safety regulations while driving efficiency and reliability in energy asset deployment.

🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field
- • Minimum 8 years of experience in power systems, energy storage, or electrical commissioning
- • Proven experience leading commissioning of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) or similar utility-scale power infrastructure
- • Strong knowledge of Australian electrical standards, grid codes, and safety regulations (e.g., AS/NZS 3000, NER)
- • Demonstrated leadership and team management experience in multidisciplinary engineering environments
- • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills for interfacing with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies
