• As a Senior Computer Vision / Machine Learning Engineer, you will be an integral part of a newly established, global, and remote team dedicated to tackling complex challenges in 3D geometric computer vision, generative deep learning, and state-of-the-art machine learning methodologies. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve the hands-on development and implementation of sophisticated computer vision models designed to extract meaningful structure from unstructured, information-dense 3D scan data. This will require a deep understanding of current research and the ability to apply it to real-world problems. You will actively research and implement state-of-the-art methods for both 3D generative AI tasks and conventional computer vision challenges, pushing the boundaries of what's possible in our domain. A significant part of your role will be collaborating closely with product and research teams to pinpoint opportunities for enhancing our existing product lines and enabling the development of future product offerings. This cross-functional collaboration is key to ensuring our technological advancements align with market needs and strategic goals.
• You will engage with massive datasets, leveraging them to develop robust, generic models while also possessing the expertise to fine-tune these models for highly specific applications. This dual capability ensures both broad applicability and tailored performance. Developing rigorous evaluation methods will be a core function, enabling the team to establish high confidence in the integrity and performance of our datasets and models. Furthermore, you will be instrumental in implementing and championing best practices for our MLOps pipelines, ensuring efficient, scalable, and reliable deployment and management of machine learning models. This includes setting up robust CI/CD processes, monitoring, and version control for machine learning artifacts. You will also work closely with product owners within a feature-focused team structure, prioritizing the rapid delivery of tangible value to Dandy's customers, ensuring that our technological innovations translate directly into improved user experiences and business outcomes.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of experience post Master's degree, or 5+ years of experience post PhD.
• Extensive experience in Python and PyTorch.
• Extensive experience with SOTA 2D deep learning and/or experience with 3D deep learning, coupled with experience in 3D geometric Computer Vision.
• Immaculate attention to detail and a commitment to delivering excellent code and results.
• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• Ability to work onsite in Indianapolis, IN 3 days per week.
