- • Lead client-facing workstreams for large U.S. banks, broker-dealers, and insurers to translate regulatory findings from MRAs, MRIAs, and Consent Orders into defensible and executable cyber security remediation plans.
- • Own the substance of remediation roadmaps designed to meet acceptance criteria from OCC, FRB, and NY DFS examiners, ensuring technical and procedural alignment with regulatory expectations.
- • Harden failing controls identified during regulatory examinations by implementing targeted technical fixes across incident response, vulnerability and patch management, and identity management systems.
- • Personally drive technical workstreams to closure in collaboration with CISOs, Risk, and Audit leadership, ensuring accountability and measurable outcomes.
- • Deliver pragmatic, scalable, and high-impact security solutions that align business objectives with technical execution in mission-critical environments.
- • Work across diverse client engagements, adapting strategies to address unique regulatory and operational challenges faced by financial institutions.
- • Collaborate with Electric Mind’s Technology Practice team to integrate modern delivery disciplines and architectural thinking into cyber security remediation efforts.
- • Translate complex regulatory requirements into actionable technical tasks that engineering and operations teams can execute with precision and compliance.
- • Serve as the primary technical authority on remediation initiatives, providing expert guidance to clients on how to satisfy examiner expectations without over-engineering solutions.
- • Maintain deep familiarity with regulatory frameworks governing financial services, including those issued by OCC, FRB, and NY DFS, and apply this knowledge to shape remediation priorities.
- • Ensure all remediation plans are documented, traceable, and auditable, with clear ownership, timelines, and success metrics.
- • Engage directly with technical teams to oversee implementation of controls related to access management, logging and monitoring, threat detection, and system hardening.
- • Advise clients on avoiding recurring regulatory findings by embedding sustainable security practices into their operational workflows.
- • Participate in client workshops, executive briefings, and regulatory response planning sessions to align technical remediation with strategic business goals.
- • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of evolving cyber threats and regulatory trends impacting the financial services sector.
- • Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and methodology development within Electric Mind’s Cyber & Regulatory Remediation team.

- • Proven experience leading cyber security remediation efforts for financial institutions subject to OCC, FRB, or NY DFS examinations
