- • Senior Copywriter at Flock Safety Inc. is responsible for defining how the brand sounds, shows up, and wins attention at scale by crafting sharp, original copy that drives measurable results across paid channels while shaping messaging and elevating creative output as a core creative force inside Flock Studios.
- • Day to day, the role involves creating world-class copy for paid social (Meta, YouTube, TikTok), video scripts, campaign concepts, and landing pages; owning performance creative by translating insights into high-converting ad copy and rapidly testing and iterating based on platform-native behavior; leveraging AI tools as a force multiplier to expand output volume without sacrificing quality; and operating at startup speed to produce high volumes of high-quality work under tight timelines while collaborating closely with cross-functional partners.
- • Flock Safety is a high-performance, low-ego team driven by urgency, collaboration, and bold thinking, building a leading safety technology platform that connects cities, law enforcement, businesses, schools, and neighborhoods in a nationwide public-private safety network trusted by over 5,000 communities, 4,500 law enforcement agencies, and 1,000 businesses, with nearly $700M in venture funding and a $7.5B valuation.
- • In this role, the person will learn to internalize complex value propositions and turn them into clear, differentiated, persuasive narratives; scale output volume and iteration speed using performance data; establish a strong point of view within Flock Studios; fully own the translation of high-level brand strategy into actionable, high-performing copy; and drive the continuous evolution of the "Flock Voice" while serving as a force multiplier leveraging AI and platform-native insights.
🎯 Requirements
- • 10+ years of experience in top-tier advertising agencies, studios, or high-growth brands with a deep care for the intersection of writing, ideas, and execution.
- • Proven track record in both conceptual campaigns and performance marketing work, demonstrating a distinct voice and range.
- • Deep understanding of paid social and performance creative, comfortable operating in both "big idea" spaces and high-volume production environments.
- • Power user of AI tools (e.g., GPT-based systems, creative automation) who quickly grasps unfamiliar concepts and translates complex product features into simple, persuasive narratives.
- • Fast, decisive, and takes initiative without being asked, setting and beating ambitious goals for creative output.
- • Low ego but high standards; solution-oriented when things get difficult and obsessed with making the work better.
