- • In this pivotal role as Senior Counsel, Regulatory & Litigation, you will be instrumental in navigating the complex legal and regulatory landscape of our rapidly evolving industry. You will provide expert legal advice on a broad spectrum of regulatory matters, encompassing consumer protection, financial regulations (including securities, payments, and anti-money laundering), sanctions, anti-bribery and corruption, and the unique challenges presented by the blockchain and AI sectors.
- • Your responsibilities will include providing expert legal guidance on financial regulatory and consumer protection matters, ensuring our operations remain in strict compliance with all applicable laws and regulations across various jurisdictions. You will play a key role in developing and implementing proactive strategies to address new and evolving global financial regulatory requirements, anticipating future challenges and opportunities.
- • You will be tasked with assessing and responding to complex regulatory inquiries, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify and implement robust solutions that effectively mitigate legal risks. A significant part of your role will involve creating and disseminating essential resources and tools designed to empower legal counsel throughout the organization, ensuring consistency and durability in our advice on financial regulatory and consumer protection issues.
- • This position demands strong project leadership capabilities, where you will lead critical projects involving in-depth financial regulatory analysis. You will work closely with a diverse range of stakeholders, including business functions, engineering teams, and members of the legal department, to achieve strategic objectives.

🎯 Requirements
- • Juris Doctor (JD) from a top-tier law school and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar.
- • Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in regulatory and litigation roles, with a strong preference for experience within the financial services or technology sectors. Prior government and/or in-house legal experience is highly desirable.
- • In-depth knowledge of global financial regulations, including but not limited to payments, securities, anti-money laundering (AML), Know Your Customer (KYC), and consumer protection laws. Familiarity with blockchain technology and its associated regulatory landscape is a significant advantage.
- • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage complex legal issues effectively and provide strategic advice.
- • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the proven ability to articulate complex legal concepts clearly and concisely to diverse audiences, including non-legal stakeholders.
- • Proven project management skills and experience leading cross-functional initiatives, with a track record of successfully delivering on complex projects.
- • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and evolving work environment, demonstrating adaptability and resilience.
