- • As a Senior Customer Success Manager at Apollo GraphQL, you will be instrumental in guiding our most significant enterprise clients through their journey with our cutting-edge API orchestration platform. This high-impact role places you at the forefront of customer relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to a select portfolio of high-revenue, high-potential accounts. Your primary objective will be to ensure these enterprise customers not only successfully adopt and scale Apollo's technology but also derive profound, measurable business value that aligns with their strategic objectives.
- • You will orchestrate the entire customer lifecycle post-sale, taking ownership of product adoption and proactively collaborating with the sales team to co-pilot customer success. This involves developing and executing tailored, high-touch engagement strategies designed to help clients achieve critical milestones. These milestones could range from successfully migrating new teams onto the Apollo platform to effectively addressing complex governance challenges within their API landscape.
- • A significant aspect of your role will involve overseeing service delivery engagements. You will work closely with our Professional Services teams and Solution Architects, leading structured project execution. This includes meticulous milestone tracking, proactive risk management, and ensuring the timely and successful delivery of customer initiatives. Your ability to manage complex technical projects from inception to completion will be crucial.
- • You will be the primary point of contact, fostering deep, consultative relationships. This involves regularly engaging with customers to understand their evolving needs, align on strategic goals, and connect them with the appropriate internal resources and expertise within Apollo. Your role is to be the linchpin that ensures seamless communication and support.
- • A key responsibility is translating complex technical solutions into tangible business outcomes. You will articulate how Apollo’s platform can directly contribute to revenue generation, cost reduction, and risk mitigation for our enterprise clients. This requires a strong business acumen coupled with technical understanding, enabling you to demonstrate clear ROI.
- • To facilitate long-term success, you will develop and maintain comprehensive customer success plans. These plans will serve as a strategic roadmap, detailing customer goals, key initiatives, adoption strategies, and success metrics, ensuring a clear path towards sustained value realization.
- • You will act as a crucial facilitator of cross-functional collaboration, both internally at Apollo and externally with customer stakeholders. 🎯 Requirements
- • 7+ years of experience in a technical, customer-facing role such as Technical Project Manager, Customer Success Manager, Technical Account Manager, Professional Services Consultant, Service Delivery Manager, or Engagement Manager.
- • Proven experience leading customer-facing project management and service delivery engagements.
- • Strong ability to coordinate cross-functional teams, set milestones, and ensure execution.
- • Skilled in partnering with Sales to drive customer adoption, expansion, and success by aligning service delivery with business goals and identifying growth opportunities.
- • Experienced in working with software engineering teams as primary stakeholders, with a strong ability to engage senior engineering leaders and platform teams at large enterprises.
- • Strong understanding of cloud-native software development, APIs, and web technologies.
- • Ability to drive measurable results and help customers achieve business outcomes.
- • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and influence decision-makers.
