- • Design, build, and maintain analytical pipelines and reporting solutions using BigQuery and MariaDB
- • Write sophisticated, performant SQL queries leveraging joins, window functions, and CTEs to extract insights from large-scale datasets
- • Architect and develop internal tooling and automation systems using Python and FastAPI to enable data-driven decision-making
- • Integrate and leverage AI-powered development tools such as Windsurf, Gemini, Claude, and Cursor to accelerate workflow efficiency and output quality
- • Apply AI/ML capabilities including LLMs, generative AI, and embeddings to enhance analytics workflows and deliver smarter, automated insights
- • Understand and document end-to-end data architecture, including data lineage, schema evolution, and flow between source systems and the data warehouse
- • Communicate complex analytical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders to drive actionable business decisions
- • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on business process analysis and design improvements grounded in data insights
- • Proactively identify opportunities for operational improvements, deeper analysis, and enhanced tooling across the analytics stack
- • Build data-facing web applications and internal dashboards using JavaScript to visualize and distribute insights
- • Own analytics projects end-to-end—from defining key questions and designing infrastructure to delivering analysis and presenting results
- • Maintain a high standard of code quality, scalability, and maintainability in all data pipelines and internal systems
- • Contribute to a culture of continuous learning by independently exploring new tools, techniques, and best practices in data engineering and analytics
🎯 Requirements
- • 7+ years of professional experience in data analytics engineering, data engineering, or a related field
- • Expert-level SQL proficiency with hands-on experience in BigQuery and MariaDB
- • Strong Python skills for building pipelines, APIs, and automation (not just scripting)
- • Demonstrated ability to use AI-powered development tools (Windsurf, Gemini, Claude, Cursor) as a core part of workflow
- • Public GitHub profile showcasing personal projects, contributions, or experiments
- • Deep understanding of data architecture, including data flow, schema design, and lineage
