📋 Description
- • Senior Data Analytics Engineer role focused on building foundational data infrastructure for a hospitality tech SaaS platform, enabling scalable, automated reporting across multiple client accounts and venues.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include designing BigQuery data architecture, building ETL/ELT pipelines from diverse sources (GA4, APIs, webhooks, POS, CMS), creating SQL models for reporting-ready datasets, establishing data quality processes, and collaborating with product and engineering teams to ensure accurate tracking and privacy-conscious practices.
- • TrueLogic is a leading nearshore staff augmentation provider headquartered in New York with 600+ tech professionals across Latin America, partnering with U.S. companies on digital transformation projects, including this client’s digital menu, engagement, and brand activation platform for on-premise hospitality and retail.
- • The role offers the opportunity to architect a data warehouse from scratch, gain deep expertise in modern data stack tools (BigQuery, GA4, Looker Studio, Python, APIs), and contribute to high-impact analytics that power client-facing BI and automated dashboards in a growing SaaS environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • 4+ years of professional experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, product analytics, or data analysis
- • Demonstrated hands-on experience building a data warehouse or reporting database entirely from scratch
- • Strong proficiency in SQL and extensive experience structuring and managing BigQuery
- • Proven ability to build, manage, and scale ETL or ELT data pipelines
- • Deep understanding of event-based analytics and direct experience with GA4 to BigQuery exports
- • Experience working with APIs, webhooks, or scheduled data syncs to join data across multiple sources
