📋 Description

• • As a Senior Data Engineer at Allstate, you will design, build, and support high-quality data solutions and pipelines that power digital products and business insights, directly contributing to the company’s mission of protecting families and advancing data-driven innovation in insurance.
• • Day to day, you will design and develop scalable data pipelines, integrate data from APIs, databases, and event streams, implement data models for unified business views, apply CI/CD and testing practices, monitor data quality and performance, collaborate with product and engineering teams in agile ceremonies, and mentor junior engineers while ensuring compliance with data governance and privacy standards.
• • You will join a collaborative, product-centric team at Allstate, a 90+ year industry leader in insurance innovation known for pioneering safety initiatives, telematics, and identity protection, where data engineering plays a critical role in enabling scalable, reliable digital experiences.
• • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in modern data engineering tools like Spark, Kafka, dbt, and Microsoft Fabric, gain hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and observability (Datadog), while growing into a technical leader who shapes data infrastructure and influences cross-functional product outcomes.
