📋 Description

• As a Senior Data Engineer at ZEAL Network SE, you will be at the forefront of modern data tech, driving the development of the company's data ecosystem to unlock the full power of its data and support innovative digital lottery and dream-driven experiences.
• You will seamlessly collect, process, store, and optimize company data; develop cutting-edge data solutions from design to deployment; identify automation opportunities; create and champion a DataOps strategy; enhance data quality and architecture; and embrace the latest technologies to push innovation forward.
• You will join a diverse team of 350+ professionals at ZEAL Network SE, an international group shaping the future of digital lotteries through brands like LOTTO24 and Tipp24, and a partner of Spain’s ONCE, fostering a collaborative, ambitious culture focused on turning dreams into reality.
• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in modern data stack technologies, gain hands-on experience with cloud data warehouses and real-time data tools, strengthen collaboration with data scientists and stakeholders, and lead initiatives that improve data reliability, scalability, and business impact.

🎯 Requirements

• Proficiency in Agile Software Development methodologies
• Proficiency in Python, Kotlin, and Golang, with eagerness to explore new data technologies
• Experience in architecting and developing production-grade data solutions
• Strong skills in SQL and big data tools like Kafka
• Proficiency in Cloud Data Warehouse systems such as Redshift, Snowflake, or BigQuery
• Familiarity with Modern Data Stack, Data Mesh, GitOps, and ideally experience with dbt
• Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements effectively
• Strong communication skills in English with a collaborative spirit
