- • The Senior Data Engineer at Baldwin Technology Company Inc. will design and manage data systems, pipelines, and management tools, overseeing junior data engineers and leading projects involving data collection and storage systems from internal and external sources across multiple platforms.
- • Day to day, the role involves collaborating with data architects, analysts, and stakeholders to identify and document data pipeline needs; designing, building, documenting, testing, and maintaining data pipelines using industry best practices; performing ETL/ELT operations in compliance with data governance and security standards; and developing data quality and governance processes to ensure accuracy through validation, inspection, and anomaly detection.

- • In this role, the individual will gain leadership experience by mentoring junior engineers, deepen expertise in cloud-based data architectures and large-scale processing engines, and contribute to scalable data solutions that support critical business decisions across the enterprise.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5-7 years of relevant experience in data engineering
- • BA/BS in a relevant discipline
- • Experience building large, complicated data pipelines across different platforms, data sources, and data structures
- • Proficiency in Python, Spark, and similar programming languages
- • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their ETL tools for data warehousing, cleansing, and transformation
- • Experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle) and SQL scripting
