📋 Description
- • As a Senior Data & Platform Engineer, you will take end-to-end ownership of a rapidly scaling data platform for a leading veterinary technology innovator, ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of data pipelines, warehousing, and infrastructure that power critical analytics for clinics worldwide.
- • Day to day, you will design and maintain data pipelines using Apache Airflow, optimize Snowflake warehouses, build dbt transformation layers, manage Kubernetes (EKS) workloads, provision infrastructure via Terraform, write SQL and Python for ETL, implement observability with Datadog, and collaborate with analytics and product teams to deliver clean, well-documented data products.
- • You will join TrueLogic, a leading nearshore staff augmentation provider with 600+ tech professionals across Latin America, partnering with U.S. companies on high-impact digital transformation projects, where your expertise will be aligned with opportunities for exceptional career growth.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in modern data stack technologies, lead the adoption of CDC and observability practices, influence platform architecture decisions, and gain experience working in a regulated domain (veterinary healthcare) where data accuracy and auditability are paramount.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of experience in data engineering or a combined data and infrastructure role, with a proven track record of building production-grade data platforms from the ground up
- • Deep expertise in Snowflake, including schema design, performance tuning, access control, and advanced cost optimization
- • Strong, hands-on experience with dbt (modeling patterns, incremental strategies, testing) and Airflow (writing DAGs, managing dependencies, debugging)
- • Advanced proficiency in SQL and solid programming skills in Python for ETL and automation
- • Working knowledge of Kubernetes, with the ability to deploy workloads, read pod logs, and manage Helm charts independently
- • Extensive experience using Terraform for infrastructure provisioning, specifically for managing data platform components
