- • Apply statistical analysis, regression, clustering, forecasting, and classification methods to solve complex business problems at scale using real-world data.
- • Design and build end-to-end analytical solutions from data extraction in BigQuery and MariaDB to automated reporting and actionable business insights.
- • Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines, analytical frameworks, and tooling using Python and SQL, ensuring reliability and performance across data systems.
- • Leverage AI-powered development tools including Windsurf, Gemini, Claude, and Cursor to accelerate code generation, experimentation, and analytical workflows.
- • Utilize advanced AI features such as LLMs, embeddings, and generative AI to augment and automate data analysis tasks and decision-making processes.
- • Build lightweight applications and APIs using FastAPI to deploy models and insights directly to stakeholders across the organization.
- • Own data architecture decisions within your domain, including schema design, data modeling, and pipeline optimization for both analytical and machine learning workloads.
- • Translate complex technical findings into clear, compelling narratives for technical and non-technical audiences to drive data-informed business decisions.
- • Map, analyze, and improve business processes through data-driven insights and process redesign, aligning analytical outputs with operational goals.
- • Work autonomously across the full data stack, managing priorities independently without supervision while maintaining high standards of quality and delivery.
- • Maintain a public GitHub profile showcasing personal projects, experiments, or open-source contributions that demonstrate technical depth and curiosity.
- • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Operations to embed data science into core business functions.
- • Continuously learn and adopt emerging tools, techniques, and AI advancements to elevate the team’s analytical capabilities and efficiency.
- • Ensure data integrity and structure from source systems through to the data warehouse, understanding end-to-end data flow and transformation logic.
- • Contribute to a culture of clean engineering, relentless curiosity, and innovation by sharing knowledge and raising the bar on analytical standards.
🎯 Requirements
- • 7+ years of professional experience in data science, advanced analytics, or a quantitative field
- • Expert-level SQL proficiency with deep fluency in BigQuery and MariaDB, including query optimization, partitioning, and data modeling
- • Strong Python skills with production-quality code development, not limited to Jupyter notebooks; experience with modern data and ML libraries
- • Deep understanding of analytical methods including regression, clustering, time series analysis, A/B testing, and classification
- • Proficiency with AI-powered development tools such as Windsurf, Gemini, Claude, or Cursor as a core part of daily workflow
- • Self-managing and self-sufficient work ethic with ability to set priorities, unblock tasks, and deliver independently
