- • The Core Analytics Team is a centralized function dedicated to providing data-driven insights to drive business and product success.
- • The Senior Data Scientist will leverage data analytics to support and improve the Home screen and discovery products, influencing the look and feel of the most visible parts of the Roku platform while connecting users to the content they love.
- • The role will involve analyzing structured and unstructured data, advising on key product development strategy decisions, developing and maintaining dashboards, reports, and data visualizations, and collaborating with stakeholders to align data science initiatives with organizational goals and strategy.
- • The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of professional experience with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Business Analytics, Data Science, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or Computer Science.
- • The candidate will also have proficiency in SQL, SAS, R, Python, or other programming languages for querying data and performing analysis, and hands-on experience with visualization tools such as Tableau or Looker.
- • The role will involve working closely with product management and engineering teams to identify opportunities to create new features, drive their adoption, and generate value for Roku.
- • The Senior Data Scientist will investigate and develop solutions to track, monitor, and improve the broader ecosystem through dashboards, data pipelines, and analytical models.
- • The successful candidate will bring a quantitatively driven mindset, strong attention to detail, and an elevated level of problem-solving expertise.
- • The role will involve working in a fast-paced environment where everyone is focused on the company's success rather than their own.

🎯 Requirements
- • 4+ years of professional experience with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Business Analytics, Data Science, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or Computer Science.
- • 4+ years of experience in product analytics, with preference for experience supporting platforms in the media and entertainment space.
- • Proficiency in SQL, SAS, R, Python, or other programming languages for querying data and performing analysis.
- • Demonstrated ability to influence quantitatively meaningful business outcomes.
- • Hands-on experience with visualization tools such as Tableau or Looker.
- • Experience with A/B testing, statistical modeling, or forecasting.
- • Demonstrated ability to take initiative in resolving issues and thrive in a dynamic environment.
- • Experience using AI and Large Language Models to enhance productivity and analytical workflows.
