📋 Description

• Senior Database Administrator responsible for implementation, configuration, maintenance, and performance of business-critical products using MS SQL Server for a global customer base, ensuring 24/7 availability.
• Install, design, and maintain database system software; implement security; monitor and analyze performance; identify bottlenecks; optimize queries with development teams.
• Develop, implement, and test backup and recovery policies; enforce database standards; create and maintain documentation.
• Provide technical leadership on database implementations; manage technology projects; troubleshoot performance issues; participate in 24/7 on-call rotations.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5-7+ years of experience in database administration with a focus on MS SQL Server 2016-2022.
• 3-5 years of experience with MySQL, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL.
• Extensive experience with query tuning and database performance optimization.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Azure PaaS SQL offerings.
• Experience in SQL Server High Availability, Log Shipping, and Replication.
• Experience in automation and managing large database environments.
• Proficiency in PowerShell and/or Python scripting.
• Strong communication and writing skills for managing stakeholder relationships in high-pressure environments.
