• • Megaport is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Deployment and Operations Engineer to join our dynamic team in Gurugram. This pivotal role is instrumental in the deployment, ongoing operation, and relentless improvement of Megaport's expansive global network infrastructure. You will be at the forefront of building, scaling, and maintaining the highly available, reliable, and resilient network services that form the backbone of our customers' critical operations. • • In this capacity, you will collaborate intimately with our Network Architects, Infrastructure teams, and Customer Support departments. Your contributions will directly influence the expansion of our global network footprint, the enhancement of our network capacity, and the unwavering assurance of operational excellence across our entire infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess a profound expertise in managing large-scale network deployments, executing robust network operations, and adeptly troubleshooting complex issues. A strong emphasis will be placed on driving automation initiatives, optimizing network performance, and elevating the overall customer experience.
• • You will be a key player in orchestrating seamless deployments of new network infrastructure, working hand-in-hand with global stakeholders, data centre providers, and telecommunications carriers. Your responsibilities will extend to resolving intricate network challenges, ensuring the highest levels of network availability, and contributing to the strategic direction of our network evolution. This role demands a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating potential risks, implementing best practices in network management, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
• • The Senior Deployment and Operations Engineer will be responsible for monitoring the health and performance of the global network, proactively identifying and addressing potential bottlenecks or failures before they impact service. This includes developing and implementing comprehensive monitoring strategies, analyzing performance metrics, and tuning network devices and configurations for optimal efficiency. You will also play a crucial role in incident management, leading the response to network outages or performance degradations, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• • Automation is a cornerstone of this role. You will be expected to develop, implement, and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline deployment processes, configuration management, and routine operational tasks.
