📋 Description

• • Senior Design Program Manager, Design Foundations & AI Transformation at Lyft, responsible for owning program management across Design Systems, Content Design, illustration, iconography, and AI tooling, serving as a strategic partner to design leads and driving the delivery of design and customer experiences to completion.
• • Day to day, the role involves owning roadmap and execution for design systems and AI projects end-to-end, driving program management for the AI Taskforce across Education, Content Design, and Infrastructure Partnership tracks, shaping and documenting workflows to improve team effectiveness, partnering with designers, engineers, illustrators, and PMs to scope work and manage delivery, building visibility into project health and team utilization for design leadership, leading planning and prioritization across cross-functional teams, facilitating design reviews, retros, and planning sessions, and bringing AI fluency to program management by using tools like Figma, Jira, and AI assistants to accelerate workflows and support team adoption.
• • The role sits within Lyft’s Design Foundations & AI Transformation organization, which serves as the infrastructure layer of Lyft’s design organization — providing the systems, standards, and processes that every product team depends on. Lyft’s purpose is to serve and connect, cultivating a work environment where all team members belong and have the opportunity to thrive, with a strong emphasis on in-office collaboration through a hybrid schedule (3 days per week in NYC).
• • In this role, the person can learn and achieve mastery in scaling design operations through AI transformation, gain deep expertise in design systems and AI tooling integration, develop leadership in cross-functional program management within a high-impact design organization, and become a trusted advocate for design process and innovation at Lyft, while building fluency in emerging AI tools that are reshaping how design teams work.
