- • As a Senior Developer Advocate, your primary mission will be to ensure developers using RevenueCat achieve maximum success. You will collaborate closely with our diverse and growing global developer advocacy team, which spans across the US, Finland, and South Korea. We are specifically seeking an individual with a proven talent for creating engaging, technical written content tailored for iOS developers, with the added capability to translate this content into compelling video formats. Your contributions will be crucial in educating our existing user base, attracting new developers through valuable search content, and solidifying RevenueCat's position as the definitive resource for in-app purchase implementation across all mobile platforms.
- • Your core responsibility will revolve around the creation of exceptional, developer-centric content focusing on the intricacies of mobile monetization and in-app purchases. This encompasses both scenarios where developers leverage RevenueCat to streamline these processes, as well as exploring and explaining alternative implementation strategies. You will be expected to produce a variety of content, including in-depth blog posts, tutorials, and guides. Examples of expected content include titles such as: "Getting started: Monetize your Swift app with RevenueCat," "Architectural patterns for building a high-performance onboarding flow with SwiftUI," "How to build an affiliate campaign to scale your mobile app with RevenueCat," and "Use the RevenueCat MCP with Xcode to rapidly set up in-app purchases in your iOS app." These pieces will serve as invaluable resources for developers at all stages of their journey.
- • Beyond your exceptional writing skills, you will actively engage with the developer community through various channels. This includes representing RevenueCat at industry conferences, webinars, and other significant events, where you will share your expertise, insights, and best practices. You will also be responsible for producing video versions of your written content, collaborating on live streams, and hosting Q&A sessions to directly assist developers in implementing and succeeding with RevenueCat's solutions. Furthermore, you will play a key role in organizing and judging hackathons and app-related competitions, fostering innovation and engagement within the developer ecosystem. Your work will also involve close collaboration with our product and engineering teams to develop comprehensive resources that enhance the developer experience and support the adoption of RevenueCat.
- • In your first month, you will immerse yourself in RevenueCat, gaining a deep understanding of our product, its features, and its value proposition. You will familiarize yourself with our existing developer community, learning how to effectively engage and support them. By the end of this period, you will have produced your initial pieces of RevenueCat content, demonstrating your ability to quickly contribute.
- • Within the first three months, you will collaborate with the Developer Advocate lead to refine and execute a content strategy that leverages your unique strengths. You will independently research and develop content to address current gaps in our documentation and educational materials, ensuring comprehensive coverage. You will also repurpose existing content into new formats, such as transforming blog posts into engaging videos, to broaden our reach and impact. A significant part of this phase will involve speaking directly with customers, helping them understand how RevenueCat can be leveraged to achieve their specific monetization goals.
- • By the end of your first six months, you will be a recognized voice for RevenueCat at major industry conferences and webinars, delivering impactful talks and actively engaging with developers. You will also provide crucial technical content support for new product launches, ensuring developers are well-equipped from day one.
- • Within your first year, you will become a prominent and influential figure within the broader developer community, with your name becoming synonymous with RevenueCat and best practices in in-app monetization across platforms like Android, Flutter, and React Native. You will be empowered to conceptualize and execute innovative initiatives to engage developers, drawing inspiration from successful past campaigns like the "Shipaton" and unique community merchandise, thereby further solidifying RevenueCat's brand and developer relationships.
