- • Join Istari Digital, a pioneering software company at the forefront of digital engineering, as a Senior Developer Relations Enablement Engineer. We are dedicated to transforming the physical world into a digital realm, empowering our customers to achieve their most critical mission and business objectives. Our vision is to make open, scalable digital engineering ecosystems a reality, enabling the creation of new technologies and systems digitally, unburdened by the traditional constraints of cost and time. We are building the world's premier engineering model-sharing platform, designed for seamless and secure integration of models across diverse engineering disciplines, organizations, and security classifications.
- • At Istari, we are driven by a profound passion for our mission: to establish the world's first open and scalable industrial metaverse. Whether our clients are engaged in prototype design, virtual testing, or the development of AI and autonomy for complex systems, we recognize the immense potential of digital transformation to deliver significant savings in time, resources, and to substantially reduce environmental impact.
- • As a Senior Developer Relations Enablement Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of both our external customers and internal teams utilizing the Istari Digital platform. This is a hands-on 'builder' role where your contributions will directly impact platform adoption and user proficiency. You will be instrumental in crafting a comprehensive suite of reusable developer-facing assets. This includes developing engaging tutorials that guide users through platform functionalities, creating practical sample integrations that demonstrate real-world applications, building robust reference implementations that serve as best-practice examples, designing compelling demos that showcase the platform's capabilities, and contributing to significant improvements in our technical documentation.
- • Furthermore, you will take the lead in architecting and delivering the internal technical training program for Istari's Customer Success Software Engineers. This involves imparting deep knowledge of the platform's architecture, features, and best practices, ensuring our internal teams are exceptionally well-equipped to support and delight our customers.
- • The Istari Digital platform is engineered to facilitate secure collaboration on engineering data. It supports the uploading, viewing, and sharing of models, as well as the derivation of critical artifacts from these models – for instance, decomposing complex CAD files into easily viewable formats. This capability ensures that teams can collaborate effectively, even in the absence of specialized, high-cost tools.
- • Our platform boasts a robust integration model, powered by modules executed through Istari Agents. For developers, we provide a comprehensive set of tooling, including the Istari Command Line Interface (CLI), an official Python Software Development Kit (SDK), and a Model Conversion Process (MCP) service specifically designed to enable advanced LLM-enabled workflows. Your work will involve writing production-quality code to enhance these tools and developing technical enablement products that drive scalable platform adoption both externally with our customer base and internally with our dedicated Customer Success engineering team.
- • This role requires a blend of deep technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a passion for empowering others. You will be at the intersection of product development and customer engagement, acting as a crucial bridge between our technology and its users. Your efforts will directly contribute to fostering a vibrant ecosystem around the Istari platform, driving innovation and ensuring our users can fully leverage its transformative potential. You will be a key advocate for the platform, translating complex technical concepts into accessible and actionable resources for a diverse audience of developers and engineers.
- • We are a distributed team with a strong emphasis on collaboration and connection. While most team members work remotely, we value in-person interaction for building trust and fostering strong team relationships. We maintain an engineering headquarters in Cambridge, MA, for focused technical development, and we convene for off-site events several times a year to enhance professional skills and strengthen team bonds. Your role will involve participating in these collaborative opportunities.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience in developer relations, developer enablement, or a similar role focused on technical advocacy and education.
- • Strong software development background with proficiency in at least one relevant programming language (e.g., Python) and experience with API integrations and SDK development.
- • Excellent technical writing and presentation skills, with a demonstrated ability to create clear, concise, and engaging technical documentation, tutorials, and training materials.
- • Experience building and maintaining developer tools, sample applications, or reference implementations.
- • Familiarity with cloud platforms, containerization technologies (e.g., Docker), and CI/CD pipelines.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Competitive salary and equity package.
- • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.
- • Generous paid time off (PTO) and holidays.
- • Opportunities for professional development and continuous learning.
- • Remote and hybrid work flexibility within the DMV area.
