Senior DevEx Engineer

📋 Description

• • As a Senior DevEx Engineer in Quality Engineering at Zipline, you will partner with Platform and product engineering teams to identify high-leverage quality opportunities and build tooling that enhances engineering velocity and confidence. Your work will directly impact how fast and reliably engineers ship software by evolving CI/CD pipelines, strengthening quality gates, and integrating AI-powered tooling into development workflows.
• • Day to day, you will assess and evolve engineering practices by evaluating CI/CD pipelines, test coverage, and developer workflows; strengthen CI/CD quality gates with linting, security scanning, and test coverage; build visibility into engineering health through quality dashboards and monitoring; explore and embed AI-powered tooling such as intelligent test generation and AI-assisted code review; streamline local development environments; manage and optimize containerized infrastructure on Kubernetes and AWS using Terraform; partner with engineering teams to embed good quality practices; evolve platform tooling via policy-as-code and API contract testing; and participate in on-call rotations for critical platform issues.
