📋 Description

• As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Business Wire, you will architect, implement, and maintain resilient infrastructure across cloud and hybrid environments, driving automation and CI/CD maturity to support global press release distribution and regulatory disclosure.
• You will transform Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, operate and support Amazon EKS Kubernetes platforms, design CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and ArgoCD, and implement GitOps deployment patterns to ensure scalable, secure, and reliable multi-environment releases.
• You will collaborate with software engineering, architecture, and operations teams to embed deployment standards into the application lifecycle, provide technical mentorship, produce documentation, and participate in on-call rotations as needed.
• This role offers the opportunity to lead critical infrastructure initiatives that improve deployment velocity, system reliability, and operational efficiency while working with cutting-edge cloud technologies in a mission-driven organization backed by Berkshire Hathaway.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or cloud infrastructure roles
• Expertise with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and CloudFormation
• Deep hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Amazon EKS, including deployment, scaling, and lifecycle management
• Strong hands-on experience building and operating CI/CD platforms (GitHub Actions or equivalent)
• Experience implementing GitOps workflows using ArgoCD or similar tools
• Strong AWS foundational knowledge (IAM, VPC, EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch)
