📋 Description

• Senior DevOps Engineer at Interra Health (formed from DoseSpot, Arrive Health, and pVerify) plays a critical role in transforming healthcare technology by building secure, scalable cloud infrastructure that enables providers and patients to navigate prescriptions with greater clarity and affordability—directly supporting the company’s mission to reduce friction in the prescription journey and improve access to medications.
• The role involves leading infrastructure strategy in Azure (with AWS support), driving automation, security, and reliability across systems while mentoring engineers and influencing architectural decisions in a remote-first, mission-driven environment focused on healthcare innovation.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include: building and maintaining secure, highly available cloud infrastructure in Azure using IaC (Bicep/Terraform); championing DevSecOps and CI/CD pipeline improvements; integrating security and compliance into deployment workflows; owning observability and reliability through SRE principles (SLOs, incident response, blameless postmortems); mentoring peers and advising on architectural decisions; owning end-to-end delivery of DevOps initiatives across engineering, security, and product teams; participating in Agile ceremonies to influence release planning; evaluating and implementing new tools for performance and developer experience; defining and tracking KPIs and SLOs to measure system health; leading incident response and postmortems; partnering with security/compliance teams to meet regulatory standards; contributing to internal documentation and knowledge-sharing; and participating in on-call rotations for Level 3 production support.

• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in enterprise-scale cloud infrastructure, DevSecOps, and SRE practices while gaining leadership experience in influencing technical strategy, mentoring engineers, and driving cross-functional initiatives—positioning you as a trusted advisor in cloud reliability and security within a high-impact healthcare technology organization.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field—or equivalent practical experience
• At least 8 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering
• Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure; working knowledge of AWS is a plus
• Advanced proficiency with IaC tools such as Bicep or Terraform
• In-depth knowledge of Azure services including Azure AD, networking, DNS, load balancing, and VPNs
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
• Proficient in scripting or programming languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Java)
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD platforms
• Proven track record of applying SRE and DevOps principles to improve system reliability and team efficiency
• Excellent communication skills, with ability to tailor messaging across engineering and business audiences
• Demonstrated ability to lead and deliver complex initiatives involving multiple stakeholders
• Proven track record of influencing decisions and mentoring engineers
