• • We are seeking a highly experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with a strong background in platform engineering to elevate our infrastructure to the next level. As a key member of our highly experienced DevOps team, reporting directly to the DevOps Lead, you will be instrumental in managing all aspects of our infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, Developer Experience (DevEx), automation strategies, system resilience, high availability, and observability (o11y). You will collaborate closely with our development teams, contributing to the design and implementation of critical features, architecting new solutions, and ensuring the smooth and reliable deployment of multiple applications.
• • Your responsibilities will encompass a broad range of critical infrastructure and operational tasks. You will be tasked with designing and implementing new infrastructure components, tooling, and features, adhering to the highest industry best practices. This includes proactively proposing innovative solutions and enhancements to our existing technology stack, processes, and codebase, always accompanied by a clear analysis of associated costs and benefits. A significant focus will be placed on developing our observability capabilities to meet and exceed industry standards, ensuring comprehensive monitoring and insight into our systems.
• • You will also be responsible for implementing new, robust processes and workflows for alerting, ensuring timely and effective notification of potential issues. A crucial part of your role will involve gathering detailed requirements from our development teams, translating these into actionable technical plans, and guiding developers in adopting DevOps and SRE best practices. You will provide essential support for their route to live, ensuring a seamless deployment experience. Furthermore, you will be dedicated to developing and maintaining a superb DevEx for our application teams, optimizing in-house tooling and automation to enhance developer productivity and efficiency.
• • Anticipating potential issues in our lower environments and taking proactive measures to prevent production incidents will be a key preventative measure. You will also be responsible for delivering new features that directly benefit our developers, streamlining their workflows and enhancing their ability to innovate.
