- • As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Bluefish AI, you will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud infrastructure that powers AI-driven marketing products for Fortune 500 clients, directly enabling reliable software delivery in a fast-growing startup environment.
- • You will architect and maintain AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), define governance policies, optimize costs, and ensure system resilience through observability, monitoring, and incident response — all while supporting compliance with ISO 27001, SOC 2, and GDPR standards.
- • You will collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, automate provisioning with Terraform, and improve deployment safety and speed for React, Next.js, and Python-based services.
- • You will mentor engineers on DevOps best practices, advocate for clean infrastructure design, and help shape a strong engineering culture as the team scales rapidly across remote UK and global locations.
- • You will play a pivotal role in driving information security and compliance initiatives, leading efforts in access control, secrets management, encryption, vulnerability management, and audit readiness to ensure systems are secure by design.
- • You will identify and resolve infrastructure bottlenecks related to database scaling, system performance, and network constraints, ensuring high availability and performance under growing workloads.
- • You will contribute to Bluefish’s mission of building the leading AI marketing platform by enabling engineering teams to move fast with stability and security, directly impacting the company’s ability to scale its AI-powered brand safety and personalized marketing solutions.
- • You will gain deep expertise in cloud-native architecture, DevSecOps practices, and enterprise-grade compliance frameworks while working with cutting-edge AI infrastructure in a high-impact, venture-backed startup backed by NEA, Salesforce Ventures, and other top-tier investors.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience in DevOps, Site Reliability, or Infrastructure Engineering, preferably in a startup or product-focused environment.
- • Deep expertise in AWS services (EC2, ECS, Lambda, RDS, S3, IAM, SQS, SNS) and cloud-native architecture.
- • Strong experience with CI/CD tools, ideally GitHub Actions, and proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform and scripting languages (Python, Bash).
- • Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (ECS/EKS/Kubernetes), along with solid understanding of networking, security best practices, and system performance monitoring.
- • Experience implementing and managing security controls and compliance requirements (ISO 27001, GDPR, SOC 2), including identity management, encryption, and audit logging.
- • Experience supporting modern web stacks, especially React, Next.js, and Python-based services.
