📋 Description

• Implement best-in-class cloud-based solutions in AWS using infrastructure as code, with a primary focus on Terraform for provisioning and managing infrastructure.
• Deploy, configure, and maintain AWS services including AMIs, containers, and serverless functions to support scalable and secure healthcare reporting systems.
• Design, develop, and optimize continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines for deployment across development, integration, and production environments using open-source plugins.
• Set up and maintain scalable CI/CD tooling to support development, testing, and automated security scanning across the software lifecycle.
• Integrate and configure monitoring solutions including Amazon CloudWatch and Splunk to provide real-time visibility into infrastructure performance, application errors, and system metrics.
• Collaborate with technical stakeholders across application development, networking, infrastructure, information security, identity and access management, and security operations to align infrastructure with business and compliance needs.
• Translate functional and non-functional business requirements into technical operational requirements and propose automated CI/CD pipelines with appropriate tools and plugins.
• Enable automation for infrastructure and application environments to improve efficiency, reliability, and security in DevOps/Agile/Scrum environments.
• Maintain and improve infrastructure as code (IaC) practices using Terraform to ensure reproducible, version-controlled, and auditable cloud deployments.
• Contribute to a small, high-impact team focused on building innovative healthcare reporting services with a commitment to incremental delivery and continuous learning.
• Adhere to federal compliance standards including NIST, FISMA, FedRAMP, and Common Criteria in the design and operation of cloud infrastructure.
• Support multi-account AWS architectures using tools such as AWS Control Tower, Service Control Policies (SCPs), GuardRails, and Transit Gateways.
• Monitor and analyze system trends using dashboards and automated notifications to proactively identify and resolve performance and security issues.
• Work within core business hours of 9am–5pm Eastern Time, with flexibility to adjust start or end times based on time zone.
• Travel approximately 5% as required for project or team needs.
• Operate within the United States with no remote access from foreign locations or foreign IP addresses; personal VPN connections are prohibited.
• Maintain active Federal Public Trust clearance and comply with U.S. residency requirements (lived in the U.S. for at least 3 of the last 5 years).

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• 3+ years of experience setting up CI/CD pipelines with integration of open-source plugins
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud environments for provisioning and managing infrastructure and applications
• 5+ years of experience writing infrastructure as code using Terraform
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal Public Trust clearance
• Must reside in the United States, be authorized to work in the U.S., and perform all work within the U.S.
