📋 Description

• As a Senior DevSecOps Engineer at Clear Finance Technology Corp. (Clearco), you will operate at the critical intersection of infrastructure, security, and reliability, directly strengthening the company’s cloud security posture and enabling secure, scalable systems that support rapid innovation for thousands of founder-led businesses.
• You will own platform security and reliability improvements across Clearco’s GCP environment, hardening identity and network controls, embedding security into CI/CD pipelines, leading threat modeling and incident response, and championing secure SDLC practices — ensuring security is not an afterthought but a foundational element of how systems are built and operated.
• You will partner closely with Product Engineering, Data Science, and IT teams to make security a practical, integrated part of the development lifecycle, translating complex security requirements into actionable guardrails, standards, and coaching that empower engineering teams to build securely by default.

• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in cloud-native security, DevSecOps automation, and incident response leadership while gaining visibility into how security enables business velocity at scale — positioning you as a trusted advisor and technical leader in securing high-growth, cloud-first fintech platforms.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience spanning cloud infrastructure and security (DevSecOps, platform security, security engineering, SRE with strong security focus)
• Deep hands-on experience with GCP (preferred) or AWS, including strong fundamentals in cloud networking and identity
• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes and service networking
• Strong Infrastructure-as-Code skills (for example Terraform) and the ability to build reusable, maintainable automation
• Practical experience integrating security into CI/CD and engineering workflows, including scanners and policy enforcement
• Experience with incident response: investigation, coordination, post-incident follow-through, and continuous improvement
• Experience with vulnerability management and software supply chain risk
• Comfortable partnering cross-functionally and driving work end-to-end in ambiguous areas
