📋 Description

• Create age-appropriate narrative and interactive digital art that brings K–12 curriculum content to life for students and teachers
• Collaborate with the art director or design lead to interpret art specifications and produce illustrations from initial sketch through final vector art delivery
• Partner closely with interaction developers, user experience designers, and curriculum experts to ensure visual assets align with pedagogical goals and technical requirements
• Adhere strictly to established visual style guidelines while flexibly adapting to multiple illustration styles across diverse project types
• Clearly articulate creative concepts and solutions both visually and verbally during cross-functional team reviews and feedback sessions
• Develop and refine deliverables by incorporating feedback from stakeholders, designers, and product owners to achieve high-fidelity execution
• Produce digital art assets using the Adobe Creative Suite, with primary focus on Illustrator, Photoshop, AfterEffects, and InDesign
• Contribute to at least three of the following workflows: asset production in Figma/Adobe suite, animation in AfterEffects, print layout design in InDesign, graphic design in Figma/Illustrator, iconography, photo research, or photo retouching in Photoshop
• Generate rapid sketches and thumbnails for iterative review and stakeholder feedback
• Design high-quality, scalable vector illustrations optimized for web, interactive platforms, and mobile environments
• Maintain consistent visual quality across digital and print deliverables while supporting both educational and branding needs
• Ensure all visual content meets accessibility standards and considers principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion in design choices
• Support the broader design team by contributing to the evolution of Amplify’s art content library and design systems
• Work remotely as part of a fully distributed team across the United States, coordinating across time zones to meet project deadlines
• Deliver approved artwork on schedule while maintaining attention to detail, style consistency, and pedagogical relevance

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in illustration and/or animation or a related art field
• Ability to draw by hand
• Ability to follow style guides and adapt to multiple illustration styles
• 5+ years of experience in digital vector art production for web, game, or interactive experiences
• Expertise with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, AfterEffects, InDesign)
• Experience creating rapid sketches and thumbnails for review and feedback
