- • As Senior Director of Product Management at Vanilla Forums Inc., you will define and drive the strategy, execution, and evolution of the company’s AI-powered estate planning platform, shaping how AI transforms advisor workflows while ensuring trust, accuracy, and reliability in high-stakes financial decisions.
- • You will lead a small, high-impact team of Product Managers and UX Designers as a player-coach, setting vision, driving roadmap execution, and staying closely involved in product delivery while reporting directly to the CTO.
- • You will partner with Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Experience to align product strategy with go-to-market efforts, define key metrics, and ensure cross-functional alignment on priorities and outcomes.
- • You will build deep domain expertise in advisor workflows and wealth management, lead user research and validation, and champion a trust-first approach to product development in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment.
- • You will own product performance by defining and tracking key business metrics, using data to inform decisions, and communicating progress to leadership and stakeholders.
- • You will foster a culture of ownership, speed, and continuous improvement by hiring and developing top talent, implementing lightweight processes, and promoting AI fluency across the team.
🎯 Requirements
- • 10+ years of product management experience, including team leadership and a demonstrable track record of building and scaling B2B SaaS products.
- • Experience with AI/ML products, including LLMs, prompting, evaluation, and understanding of AI tradeoffs such as accuracy, latency, and hallucination.
- • Strong data instincts—ability to define metrics, run experiments, evaluate outcomes, and turn ambiguity into structured, iterative plans.
- • Proven ability to partner effectively with Engineering and Data teams to ship AI features and actively use and promote AI tools in day-to-day work.
- • Customer-obsessed mindset with appreciation for high-stakes financial decisions, high ownership, bias for action, and clear communication across technical and business audiences.
