📋 Description

• The Senior Distributed Database Administrator is a critical role responsible for ensuring the availability, performance, security, and scalability of Oracle database platforms and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments, supporting mission-critical payment systems used by millions globally.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include testing database patches in pre-production, managing user access and permissions, scheduling backups and disaster recovery procedures, performing routine maintenance like data compression and defragmentation, troubleshooting application failures with development teams, maintaining operational documentation, and mentoring junior DBAs.
• The role involves managing Oracle Fusion, OIC, ATP, VBCS, and OAC services under OCI, overseeing infrastructure, leading migrations, administering OCI IAM and security configurations, and designing multi-region OCI deployments.
• The position offers the opportunity to deepen expertise in enterprise Oracle ecosystems, lead cloud infrastructure initiatives, and contribute to the reliability of global payment processing systems at a scale serving over 3 million businesses and 600 million cardholders.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience with installation, customization, testing, and maintenance of database systems in production environments
• Extensive knowledge of Oracle database platforms, including Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Oracle Fusion, OIC, ATP, VBCS, and OAC
