• As a Senior Engineer - Federal Infrastructure, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the seamless installation of our platform and the intricate integration of both cloud and on-premise networks. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring our platform operates flawlessly across a wide spectrum of environments, meeting the stringent demands of federal clients. This role requires a deep and proven understanding of federal network infrastructure, with a specific focus on ensuring strict compliance with the Department of Defense's Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) requirements. You will be instrumental in architecting, implementing, and maintaining secure and compliant infrastructure solutions that underpin our advanced digital engineering platform.
• Your responsibilities will encompass a broad range of technical challenges, including designing and deploying robust network architectures that adhere to federal security standards. You will be responsible for configuring and managing network devices, firewalls, and security appliances to protect sensitive data and ensure operational integrity. A significant part of your role will involve collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, cybersecurity specialists, and federal client stakeholders, to understand their unique requirements and deliver tailored infrastructure solutions.
• You will lead the technical efforts for platform deployments within federal environments, ensuring successful integration with existing IT systems and adherence to all relevant government regulations and policies. This includes developing and executing comprehensive test plans to validate network performance, security, and compliance. Furthermore, you will be responsible for troubleshooting complex network issues, performing root cause analysis, and implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime and maintain high availability.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience designing, implementing, and managing complex federal network infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on Department of Defense (DoD) environments.
• In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and compliance requirements, particularly the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) at all relevant levels.
• Expertise in network protocols, routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, and network security best practices.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS GovCloud, Azure Government) and hybrid cloud architectures, including secure integration with on-premise federal networks.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
