Our Agoura Hills studio is at the forefront of developing the next generation of in-game and user-created content, and we need a Senior Engineer to help shape its architecture. You will be instrumental in serving a dedicated creator community exceeding 50,000 members, whose contributions provide thousands of hours of extended gameplay for our players.
• This role demands an engineer who upholds a high standard for code quality and possesses a deep appreciation for clean, efficient, and maintainable design. You will play a pivotal role in enhancing our creation tools and pipelines, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including modeling, UX, animation, and cinematics. Your contributions will directly impact the evolution of WWE 2K, ensuring future iterations are the most innovative and player-empowering yet.
• Your responsibilities will encompass contributing significantly to the development of our in-game create modes and runtime systems. This involves not only building new features but also actively refactoring and modernizing existing codebases to pave the way for future enhancements and more sophisticated creative tools. You will be a key collaborator with our content creators, working hand-in-hand to refine their workflows, boost efficiency, and implement features that directly address their needs and aspirations.
• Operating within an Agile development environment, you will be expected to provide accurate schedules and reliable estimates for task completion, ensuring projects stay on track. 🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in game development.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Fluency in C/C++, with knowledge of C# and Python being advantageous.
• Solid understanding of algorithms, state machines, data structures, and object-oriented programming principles.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a self-motivated work ethic.
