- • This pivotal role offers a unique opportunity to drive substantial organizational value by taking ownership of the hands-on configuration and continuous improvement of Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations (F&O), with a strategic emphasis on its Supply Chain Management capabilities.
- • You will collaborate closely with the Senior Product Manager for Inventory and a talented, cross-functional team comprising engineers, warehouse operations managers, finance managers, and key business stakeholders spread across multiple countries, fostering a truly global and integrated approach.
- • M-KOPA fosters a low-ego, collaborative environment where diversity and innovation are celebrated. We champion psychological safety and adopt a discovery-first methodology for problem-solving, empowering you to leverage your deep technical expertise to tackle complex business challenges.
- • Your primary focus will be on architecting and delivering robust D365 F&O solutions, ensuring they align with M-KOPA's strategic objectives for operational excellence and growth.
- • You will manage the entire lifecycle of D365 F&O implementations, from the initial stages of detailed requirements gathering and analysis through to successful deployment and comprehensive post-go-live support, ensuring seamless transitions and sustained performance.
- • A key responsibility will be the design and meticulous configuration of the Supply Chain Management modules within D365, encompassing critical areas such as warehouse management, inventory control, logistics, procurement processes, and manufacturing operations.
- • Concurrently, you will architect and refine the Finance modules, focusing on essential components like landed cost management, invoicing workflows, tax compliance intricacies, and the generation of accurate financial reporting to meet regulatory and business needs.
- • You will be a driving force behind the digital transformation of our operations, spearheading D365 optimization and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall operational agility.
- • As the resident Dynamics 365 expert, you will provide invaluable guidance and strategic advice to various teams, ensuring they leverage the platform's full potential and adhere to best practices for integration strategies.
- • Your role will involve close collaboration with Product Managers and Engineers to effectively translate complex business requirements into practical, scalable, and technically sound solutions within the D365 framework.
- • You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our inventory management systems not only meet operational demands but also adhere strictly to financial and audit compliance requirements through precise and effective system configuration.
- • Furthermore, you will be responsible for developing and delivering comprehensive training programs and ongoing support to end-users across warehouse operations, finance departments, and other relevant business units, fostering user adoption and proficiency.
- • Although direct coding is not a prerequisite for this position, we are seeking individuals with a proactive growth mindset who possess a genuine curiosity to understand software development fundamentals. You should be excited by the prospect of contributing to our evolving event-driven microservices architecture that strategically extends the core capabilities of Dynamics 365.
- • This is a fully remote position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work from anywhere within the UTC -1 through UTC+3 time zones, reporting directly to the Head of Engineering - Acquisition Sales.
- • You will be instrumental in shaping the future of M-KOPA's operational backbone, contributing directly to our mission of unlocking financial services for millions across Africa.
- • Your work will directly impact the efficiency and scalability of our supply chain and financial systems, enabling M-KOPA to serve more customers and expand its reach.
- • You will be part of a dynamic, fast-growing organization recognized by prestigious publications like the Financial Times and TIME, contributing to a company with a significant social impact.
- • This role demands a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of ERP systems and a passion for leveraging technology to solve real-world business problems in emerging markets.
- • You will have the autonomy to influence architectural decisions and drive best practices in D365 implementation and utilization across the organization.
