- • Support internal specialty teams with data analytics and reporting to drive informed financial and operational decisions.
- • Manage vendor relationships for specialty care providers serving specific medical conditions, ensuring accurate data exchange and financial alignment.
- • Transform monthly payer financial data into standardized accounting formats to enable consistent reporting and compliance.
- • Develop and maintain advanced Power BI reports using DAX, bookmarks, and data modeling techniques to visualize complex financial and healthcare metrics.
- • Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract, clean, and analyze data from internal and external healthcare and financial systems.
- • Analyze healthcare financial data, including claims and payer information, to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for cost optimization.
- • Create data visualizations and dashboards that translate complex financial insights into actionable strategic recommendations for senior leadership.
- • Communicate analytical findings, progress updates, and resolution plans clearly to cross-functional stakeholders, vendors, and executive leadership.
- • Ensure all data handling and reporting practices comply with HIPAA regulations and protect member PHI through secure, dedicated work environments.
- • Collaborate with finance, analytics, and healthcare operations teams to align BI solutions with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
- • Participate in occasional travel to Humana offices for training sessions, team meetings, or strategic planning events.
- • Utilize HireVue technology for initial interview assessments, providing recorded or text-based responses to job-related questions.
- • Maintain internet connectivity with minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps to support secure, uninterrupted remote work.
- • Work from a dedicated, interruption-free home space to ensure confidentiality of sensitive healthcare and financial data.
- • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by refining reporting processes and enhancing data accuracy across finance and specialty care domains.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of data analytics experience OR Master’s degree and 3+ years of experience
- • Advanced proficiency in SQL query development
- • Advanced proficiency in Power BI report development (DAX, bookmarks, data modeling)
- • Familiarity with healthcare financial data or claims
- • Prior experience creating analytics solutions for multiple healthcare sectors
- • Ability to analyze data to solve business problems and create visualizations that drive strategic direction
