- • The Senior Forward Deploy Engineer for ND8 is a hybrid role responsible for hands-on deployment execution and ongoing technical account ownership across the Nordic region, combining deep technical deployment work with long-term customer leadership to ensure seamless platform adoption and expansion.
- • Day to day, the engineer leads end-to-end deployment of Armada platforms (Atlas, Galleon with AEP, Leviathan AI Factory integrated with Bridge GPUaaS), owns infrastructure bring-up and production readiness, serves as the primary technical point of contact post go-live, drives Joint Success Plans, accelerates time-to-value, ensures operational excellence and reliability, manages data residency and security compliance, mentors junior team members, and collaborates cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Engineering.
- • Armada is a full-stack edge infrastructure company delivering compute, connectivity, and sovereign AI/ML to remote locations in over 60 countries, backed by $200M+ in funding from investors like Microsoft (M12), Founders Fund, and strategic partners including Starlink, Skydio, and NVIDIA, with a mission to bridge the digital divide through transformative, customer-owned technology solutions.
- • In this role, the person will develop deep expertise in edge infrastructure, GPU-accelerated AI workloads, and regulated environments; build trusted, long-term relationships with senior engineering and security teams at enterprise and government customers; shape deployment standards and best practices; and directly impact customer retention, expansion, and Armada’s market success in the ND8 region through end-to-end technical ownership.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years of experience in infrastructure, platform engineering, SRE, forward-deployed engineering, or technical account roles
- • Proven ability to own both hands-on delivery and long-term customer technical relationships
- • Deep technical expertise across Linux, networking, Kubernetes, storage, and GPU-accelerated compute
- • Strong troubleshooting skills in live, production environments
- • Experience supporting customers across multiple European countries
- • Willingness to travel within the ND8 region as required
- • Clear, confident communication style suited for executive and senior engineering audiences
