📋 Description

• Senior Frontend Engineer at BaseTen Inc., responsible for crafting performant and delightful user experiences across the company’s core platform, enabling AI companies to deploy and manage models at scale.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include designing, implementing, and maintaining responsive, accessible frontend interfaces using React and TypeScript; collaborating with product designers to turn complex ideas into intuitive UIs; optimizing application performance and reliability; driving major frontend initiatives; establishing best practices; mentoring engineers; building reusable component libraries; and partnering with backend teams to define and refine APIs and end-to-end flows.
• BaseTen powers mission-critical inference for leading AI companies such as Cursor, Notion, OpenEvidence, Abridge, Clay, Gamma, and Writer, uniting applied AI research, flexible infrastructure, and seamless developer tooling to bring cutting-edge models into production. The company recently raised a $1.5B Series F and is backed by top-tier investors including BOND, IVP, Spark Capital, Greylock, and Conviction.
• In this role, you will gain deep expertise in scaling frontend systems for AI infrastructure, influence the direction of a high-impact product used by frontier AI companies, sharpen your skills in React and TypeScript at scale, and grow as a technical leader through mentorship and cross-functional collaboration.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building production-grade web applications
• Deep expertise in React, TypeScript, and modern web development tooling
• Track record of building well-crafted, performant, and scalable UIs
• Strong product intuition and empathy for the user experience
• Experience working in cross-functional product teams in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
