Nivoda, a rapidly expanding B2B marketplace transforming the global diamond industry, is seeking an experienced Senior Fulfillment Operations Associate to join our dynamic team in Amsterdam. This is a pivotal, hands-on role where you will be instrumental in co-leading our Dutch hub's fulfillment engine, ensuring the seamless and secure movement of high-value goods.
• • As a Senior Fulfillment Operations Associate, you will play a crucial part in managing the entire lifecycle of inbound and outbound shipments. Your primary responsibility will be to co-lead the break-bulk process for consolidated imports arriving from India. This involves meticulously reconciling manifests, verifying the exact counts and condition of incoming goods, and efficiently staging these items for the subsequent pick-and-pack operations. Your diligence here will lay the foundation for accurate and timely order fulfillment.
• • Beyond inbound logistics, you will be deeply involved in running the fulfillment and dispatch operations. This encompasses the precise picking and packing of orders, accurate labeling, and the critical task of booking shipments with our courier partners. You will manage courier cut-off times, diligently track all outgoing shipments through various scanning systems, and proactively resolve any delays or issues that arise, ensuring end-to-end accountability for every dispatch.
• • Effective communication is paramount in this role. You will be the lynchpin connecting various departments, proactively updating our Customer Service, Supplier Support, and regional teams on the status of shipments, potential risks, and any recovery plans. Your clear and timely updates will ensure all stakeholders are informed and aligned, minimizing disruptions and maintaining operational fluidity.
• • This role also offers the exciting opportunity to co-own and develop special fulfillment streams. You will assist in managing, and potentially lead, the specific workflows for Express shipments, intricate Jewellery and Melee orders, and contribute to the development of future NL-based workflows. This includes the critical task of establishing and refining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and efficiency across these specialized areas.
• • Continuous improvement and meticulous organization are core tenets of this position. You will be a driving force behind identifying and implementing process improvements within the hub. Your commitment to enhancing efficiency, accuracy, and security will directly impact our operational performance. Furthermore, you will actively support the day-to-day organization of the hub, ensuring a clean, safe, and efficient working environment.
