- • As a Senior HR Partner at Montu UK Limited, you will be instrumental in shaping the employee experience for our rapidly growing Pharmacy function. This pivotal role is designed for a proactive and empathetic HR professional who thrives on direct engagement with people, ensuring that every team member, from assistants and pharmacists to technicians, dispensers, and pharmacy managers, feels genuinely supported, highly engaged, and empowered to perform at their best. Your contribution will extend beyond routine HR tasks, focusing on cultivating a vibrant and inclusive culture where our company values are not just stated but actively lived, creating a workplace that fosters pride and excellence within a demanding, regulated healthcare setting.
- • In this hands-on, people-focused position, your daily responsibilities will encompass providing comprehensive day-to-day HR support to all Pharmacy teams. This includes offering expert advice and guidance on critical areas such as performance management, absence tracking, employee wellbeing initiatives, and navigating complex employee relations matters. You will be a key player in managing the entire employee lifecycle for our Pharmacy colleagues, meticulously overseeing processes from initial onboarding and probation periods through to career progression discussions and respectful exit procedures. Your presence will be a constant, visible, and approachable HR touchpoint across all Pharmacy operations, establishing yourself as a trusted advisor known for delivering clear, practical, and actionable advice. You will collaborate closely with managers and teams to actively embed a positive and inclusive organisational culture, championing collaboration, fostering a strong sense of accountability, and upholding the highest standards of professional conduct and patient care. Furthermore, you will partner effectively with our recruitment and onboarding teams to guarantee that all new Pharmacy joiners experience a warm welcome, receive comprehensive support, and feel seamlessly integrated into the company culture from their very first day.
- • You will actively support managers in executing essential people processes, including conducting performance conversations, facilitating probation reviews, and implementing effective absence management strategies. A significant aspect of your role will involve bringing people-focused initiatives to life, such as developing and executing engagement activities, establishing recognition programs, championing wellbeing ideas, and creating meaningful ways to celebrate the outstanding work of our teams. Your HR advice will always be grounded in a thorough understanding of UK employment law and best practices, critically applied within the unique context of a regulated healthcare environment. By leveraging feedback and analysing people data, you will identify emerging themes and trends within Pharmacy teams, proactively translating these insights into practical, people-centric improvements that enhance the overall employee experience. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to contribute to broader people projects as needed, which may include policy updates, enhancements to the onboarding process, or the development and delivery of manager training programs, allowing you to broaden your HR expertise and impact across the organisation.
- • About the team and company: Montu UK is at the forefront of digital health, specialising in cannabis-based medicines (CBPM). We are driven by a mission to transform lives by significantly improving access to safe, effective treatments and delivering an unparalleled standard of patient care. Our work environment is dynamic, supportive, and designed to foster professional growth while enabling you to make a tangible difference in the lives of patients. You will be joining a forward-thinking company that values innovation, collaboration, and a commitment to excellence in both healthcare delivery and employee experience.
- • In this role, you will gain invaluable experience in managing HR operations within a fast-paced, regulated healthcare sector, deepening your expertise in employment law and best practices. You will have the opportunity to significantly influence and shape the culture of a key function within a growing digital health company, developing your strategic HR partnership skills. The role offers substantial opportunities for professional development, including collaboration with diverse teams, representing Montu at industry events, and receiving dedicated support to enhance your skills and expand your impact within the organisation. You will become a trusted advisor and a key contributor to Montu's mission of improving patient access to vital treatments.
