- • As a Senior IAM Engineer at Allica Bank, you will play a critical role in securing and enabling access to the bank’s digital platforms by designing, implementing, and operating identity and access management solutions that support customer-facing systems, ensuring the reliability, security, and scalability of identity services that underpin the bank’s growth in serving underserved SMEs across the UK.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include designing and maintaining secure IAM solutions for Customer IAM, configuring and operating Ping Identity platforms (PingDirectory, PingAccess, PingFederate), implementing modern authentication protocols (SAML, OAuth2, OpenID Connect), building and automating IAM infrastructure using DevOps and IaC practices, implementing monitoring and alerting for operational health, participating in incident response, continuously improving automation and deployment processes, collaborating with engineering, security, and compliance teams to align IAM with regulatory standards, contributing to identity architecture decisions, and documenting procedures for knowledge sharing.

- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in enterprise IAM platforms, gain hands-on experience with cloud-based identity automation in a regulated financial environment, develop leadership in identity architecture and DevOps practices, and contribute to shaping IAM best practices across a high-growth organisation, positioning yourself as a trusted expert in secure identity engineering.
🎯 Requirements
- • Strong hands-on experience with the Ping Identity platform, including PingDirectory, PingFederate, and PingAccess, with proven ability to configure, integrate, and support these systems in production environments.
- • Strong understanding of authentication and authorisation standards, including SAML, OAuth2, and OpenID Connect, with practical experience implementing these protocols in enterprise applications.
- • Engineering mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation, ideally with experience in Microsoft Azure cloud platforms.
