📋 Description

• Senior Information Security Specialist role focused on maturing DoorDash’s global security and privacy compliance risk program by creating and operationalizing a global compliance change process framework.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and operating a global compliance change management framework, maintaining a structured view of the compliance landscape, leading compliance-impact assessments, facilitating risk workshops, translating regulatory requirements into control specifications, identifying control gaps, defining remediation plans, partnering with control owners to improve evidence quality, supporting risk register and reporting maturity, and promoting a risk-based compliance culture.
• The role sits within the Governance, Risk, and Compliance team, which partners across Security, Engineering, Legal, Privacy, Product, IT, Procurement, Internal Audit, and business teams to manage security and privacy risk and build scalable compliance programs.
• The individual will develop expertise in global compliance frameworks, enhance ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into actionable controls, strengthen cross-functional leadership and communication skills, and contribute to executive-level risk reporting and decision-making in a high-growth technology environment.
