- • Sell Sage Intacct Construction, the leading cloud-based financial management platform tailored for construction and real estate industries, through full-cycle B2B sales processes from initial outreach to contract signing.
- • Develop and manage a self-sourced outbound pipeline alongside qualified leads generated from Sage, partner referrals, and marketing channels.
- • Engage directly with key decision-makers including CFOs, Controllers, Owners, and Operations leaders to understand financial and operational pain points in project-driven businesses.
- • Coordinate closely with Sales Engineers to deliver customized Sage Intacct Construction demonstrations that align with client-specific workflows and requirements.
- • Lead proposal development, negotiation, and close planning for complex software deals involving multi-stakeholder buying committees.
- • Maintain accurate sales forecasting, ensure clean CRM hygiene, and document clear next steps for all active opportunities in the pipeline.
- • Consistently meet and exceed quarterly and annual quota targets while maintaining strong pipeline coverage and velocity.
- • Work in close partnership with Implementation and Customer Success teams to ensure seamless handoff and long-term client satisfaction post-sale.
- • Demonstrate disciplined sales cycle management with a focus on urgency creation, stakeholder alignment, and deal progression.
- • Bring high accountability, strong internal drive, and competitive instincts to a growing sales team operating in a remote-first environment.
- • Leverage prior experience in ERP, financial systems, or project management software to quickly adapt to the construction industry’s unique financial workflows.
- • Participate in ongoing Sage Intacct training and certification programs to deepen product expertise and enhance credibility with prospects.
- • Operate independently with ownership over territory development, pipeline generation, and revenue outcomes without reliance on assigned leads alone.
- • Maintain professional, collaborative relationships across internal teams while upholding high standards for communication, forecasting accuracy, and sales execution.
- • Represent ETHOSystems as a trusted advisor to construction and real estate firms transitioning from outdated financial systems to modern cloud-based solutions.
- • Navigate complex sales cycles involving multiple decision-makers, budget approvals, and technical evaluations within mid-to-large-sized general contractors and specialty subcontractors.
- • Utilize industry knowledge of construction financial processes—including job costing, cash flow tracking, and project performance reporting—to articulate value propositions effectively.
- • Contribute to the growth of a focused sales team by sharing best practices, refining sales playbooks, and supporting onboarding of new team members.
- • Maintain a results-oriented mindset with emphasis on consistent quota attainment, pipeline health, and long-term customer success.
🎯 Requirements
- • 4+ years of full-cycle B2B software sales experience
- • Proven track record of quota attainment and overperformance
- • Experience selling complex software to financial, operational, or executive buyers (CFOs, Controllers, Owners)
- • Strong ability to create and manage outbound pipeline, not just work assigned leads
- • Experience with ERP, accounting, financial systems, or project management software (e.g., Sage, Acumatica, NetSuite, Oracle, Procore, Viewpoint, CMiC, Autodesk, Trimble)
- • Construction ERP or construction technology sales experience strongly preferred
