Full Job Description

📋 Description

  • • Directive Consulting is at the forefront of B2B performance marketing, dedicated to delivering tangible revenue growth for our clients, not just leads. We achieve this through our proprietary Customer Generation methodology, designed to cut through the marketing noise and drive measurable results. Our focus is on pipeline acceleration, fueling Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs), and scaling brands committed to significant growth. We offer a comprehensive suite of services including Paid Media, SEO, CRO, RevOps, and Go-To-Market Strategy, building robust marketing engines that excel in the SaaS and broader B2B sectors.
  • • We operate in a fast-paced, bold, and elite environment. We seek individuals who challenge the status quo, push campaigns beyond expectations, and ignite demand for innovative brands. If you are driven by performance, thrive on solving complex challenges, and want your work to have a meaningful impact, you will find a welcoming and stimulating home with us. We are not just delivering results; we are actively shaping the future of marketing and invite you to build something groundbreaking.
  • • This Senior IT Manager role is pivotal to the operational infrastructure of both Directive and Abe, reporting directly to the Head of Finance. The position is responsible for architecting and executing our overarching technology strategy, ensuring robust security compliance, and meticulously managing the IT budget. While you will manage an IT Manager who handles daily logistics, this role demands a "Player-Coach" mentality. You will be expected to be hands-on, tackling high-level technical escalations, directly administering critical business systems, and stepping in to support the helpdesk during peak periods. In our small, agile setting, you must be adept at strategic planning one moment and troubleshooting intricate integration issues the next.
  • • As the primary System Administrator for our core business tools, including NetSuite, Salesforce, Asana, PandaDoc, and Notion, you will personally manage complex configurations and integrations. Your expertise will ensure seamless data flow across Sales, Finance, and Operations through the development and maintenance of automations and API connections. You will also be responsible for evaluating, implementing, and deploying new tools, including providing comprehensive training to the organization.
  • • You will lead the charge in executing compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, which involves gathering necessary evidence and managing all audit requirements. A key responsibility will be directly responding to customer and vendor security questionnaires, thereby accelerating sales cycles. Furthermore, you will configure and enforce data governance policies across our distributed tools like Notion, Drive, and Stratos to prevent data silos and ensure data integrity.
  • • Device security will be managed hands-on through our MDM software (Kandji), ensuring the protection of all company assets. You will serve as the ultimate escalation point for all technical issues, adeptly troubleshooting complex hardware and software problems. In close partnership with the IT Manager, you will oversee the helpdesk queue, actively resolving tickets and providing direct support to employees to ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are consistently met.
  • • Proactive planning is essential, and you will develop and execute comprehensive disaster recovery plans, data backup strategies, and business continuity protocols. Maintaining high-level documentation, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and internal knowledge bases for our system architecture will be a critical ongoing task. You will own the IT budget, collaborating closely with the Finance team to identify and implement cost-saving opportunities. Regular audits of our SaaS ecosystem will be conducted to consolidate tools, manage renewals effectively, and negotiate vendor contracts to optimize cost structures and streamline our technology stack.
  • • This role requires a leader who can balance strategic vision with practical, hands-on execution, ensuring our technology infrastructure is robust, secure, and aligned with our business objectives. You will be instrumental in enabling our continued growth and operational efficiency.
