  • • We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior/Lead Algorithm Engineer to spearhead the development of our overseas growth algorithm capabilities from inception. This is a unique opportunity to build and shape a critical function within a rapidly expanding global organization.
  • • In this high-impact role, you will possess significant ownership and autonomy. Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and implement end-to-end machine learning systems that are crucial for optimizing our paid advertising strategies across major platforms like Google and Meta, enabling intelligent user targeting, and accurately predicting Lifetime Value (LTV) for millions of users in over 100 countries.
  • • You will define the technical roadmap, architect scalable and robust ML systems, and directly influence OKX's strategies for acquiring and retaining high-value users worldwide. As this domain matures, you will have the exciting prospect of scaling the team, potentially growing into Staff Engineer or Engineering Manager positions, further shaping the future of growth at OKX.
  • • **What You'll Build:**
  • • **Paid Ads Optimization:**
  • • Design and implement sophisticated intelligent bidding algorithms for Google Ads, Meta Ads, and other paid advertising channels. These algorithms will focus on optimizing key performance indicators such as Cost Per Acquisition (CPA), Return on Ad Spend (ROAS), and overall user quality.
  • • Develop and deploy automated budget allocation systems. These systems will dynamically distribute marketing budgets across various campaigns, geographical regions, and advertising channels, leveraging real-time performance data and predicted LTV to maximize efficiency and impact.
  • • Build predictive models to forecast creative performance. This will enable data-driven decision-making for A/B testing, ensuring that marketing creatives are optimized for maximum engagement and conversion.
  • • Implement advanced multi-touch attribution models. These models will provide a clear and accurate understanding of how different marketing channels contribute to user acquisition and conversion, allowing for more effective resource allocation.
  • • **User Targeting & Selection:**
  • • Construct lookalike modeling and audience expansion algorithms to identify and target high-value user segments with precision. This involves leveraging existing user data to find new users with similar characteristics and behaviors.
  • • Design and deploy propensity models to predict user conversion likelihood at various stages of the customer journey, including registration, Know Your Customer (KYC) completion, initial deposit, and first trade.
  • • Develop real-time user scoring systems. These systems will enable dynamic adjustments to bidding strategies and personalize user experiences based on their current behavior and predicted value.
  • • Create behavioral clustering models to identify distinct user personas. This will allow for more refined and effective targeting strategies tailored to the needs and preferences of different user groups.
  • • **LTV Prediction & Retention:**
  • • Build robust LTV prediction models that integrate diverse data sources, including user behavior patterns, prevailing market conditions, and engagement metrics, to forecast the long-term value of users.
  • • Develop sophisticated early signal detection mechanisms to identify high-LTV users within the critical first 24-72 hours of their interaction with OKX.
  • • Design and implement churn prediction models to proactively identify users at risk of leaving and develop targeted reactivation campaigns to improve retention rates.
  • • Utilize cohort analysis techniques to meticulously track and evaluate the performance of user acquisition and engagement strategies across different channels and time periods, providing insights for continuous improvement.
