- • As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Orita AI, you will design, train, and deploy models that power marketing-focused products for leading global brands, directly impacting customer engagement and revenue through timely, channel-optimized messaging.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include building and productionizing ML models, developing scalable MLOps infrastructure using GCP and containerization tools, driving model improvement via A/B testing and causal inference, and collaborating with cross-functional teams including the CEO and CTO to align on product goals.
- • Orita AI builds AI customer segments for top brands like Spanx, ThirdLove, and True Classic, helping them understand when and how to message customers profitably in a high-cost acquisition landscape by improving retention and LTV.
- • In this role, you will own the full ML lifecycle from ideation to deployment, deepen your expertise in modern ML systems and MLOps, mentor peers, and grow technically and professionally within a lean, innovative team shaping the future of marketing AI.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of full-time software engineering experience, including at least 3 years working on ML systems
- • Deep knowledge of modern machine learning algorithms (tree-based methods, deep learning architectures, transformers/LLMs) and hands-on experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, XGBoost or equivalent
- • Track record building production-scale ML infrastructures using GCP (Vertex AI, KubeFlow, BigQuery), CI/CD, Docker/Kubernetes, and distributed training (Spark, Ray, Dask)
- • Strong proficiency in Python (numpy, pandas), scalable data processing (Spark, Ray, BigQuery), and job orchestration (Airflow)
- • Comfortable with advanced experimentation techniques (A/B testing, uplift modeling, causal inference) and performance measurement in real-world deployments
- • Excellent communication skills to explain complex ML concepts to non-technical stakeholders and a self-starter mentality with ownership of the full ML lifecycle
