- • Senior Manager, Clinical Data Configuration role focused on configuring study-level clinical data extractions, transformations, and visualizations across multiple data sources in alignment with Data Transfer Agreements and technical specifications.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include partnering with internal and external stakeholders and data engineers to define requirements, resolve issues, ensure compliant data delivery, contribute to standards and SOPs, lead process improvements, and mentor team members.
- • The role sits within Takeda’s R&D Testing, Innovation, and Data Enablement organization, supporting a mission-driven, values-led company committed to Better Health and a Brighter Future through innovation and excellence.
- • Opportunity to lead process improvement initiatives, mentor team members, ensure inspection-ready data delivery, and contribute to global clinical data standards in a hybrid work environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in CS, statistics/biostatistics, math, biology/health-related field plus minimum 7 years of relevant experience.
- • Experience with EDC build/data management or EDC extraction/configuration and strong understanding of clinical data flow (CDMS, vendor devices, CDR).
- • Familiarity with data cleaning tools (e.g., Veeva CDB, J Review, Elluminate) and strong knowledge of clinical trial terminology, data transfer specifications, and SDTM.
- • Experience designing visual objects/libraries and programming clinical trial visualization tools; proficiency in XML, APIs, MDR, ETL/ELT, and familiarity with AWS/Databricks.
- • Programming skills in SQL, SAS, R, or Python (preferred), including R Shiny or Python app development.
- • Demonstrated project management, leadership, issue resolution, and mentoring abilities in a fast-paced, matrix environment.

- • Competitive U.S. base salary range of $137,000.00 - $215,270.00.
