  • • Senior Manager of Events responsible for planning and executing Symplicity’s most important events, including conferences, field programs, and internal gatherings that drive brand visibility and sales pipeline.
  • • Own end-to-end logistics for flagship conferences, internal sales kickoffs, prospect dinners, and field events from planning through execution and post-event analysis.
  • • Manage the annual events calendar, maintain a clear roadmap of upcoming, in-flight, and completed events, and align programs with regional sales and marketing teams to meet pipeline, attendance, engagement, and ROI goals.
  • • Own all vendor, venue, and agency relationships, including contract negotiation, timeline management, and accountability for quality and budget adherence.
  • • Manage the events budget with precision—track spending, reconcile against actuals, flag variances early, and route approvals through legal and finance channels.
  • • Build and maintain repeatable workflows and checklists to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
  • • Track event performance in HubSpot, measuring attendance, pipeline created, and pipeline influenced, and come to debriefs with data-driven insights.
  • • Partner closely with the VP of Marketing and regional sales leaders to ensure event success and organizational alignment.

  • • Contribute to a culture of AI experimentation by testing new tools, sharing learnings, and iterating on processes.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 5+ years of experience in B2B event marketing or event management with a proven track record of running complex, multi-stakeholder events with minimal supervision.
  • • Exceptional organizational skills with a reliable system to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
  • • Experience owning vendor and agency relationships, including negotiating contracts and managing to budget.
  • • Comfort working directly with senior executives and external clients in a polished, professional, and personable manner.
  • • Proficiency with HubSpot or a comparable CRM/marketing automation platform, understanding how events connect to pipeline and demonstrating measurable impact.
  • • Process-oriented mindset—follows workflows, involves legal and finance at appropriate times, and avoids creating surprises for stakeholders.
  • • Curiosity about AI-assisted tools and workflows, with openness to experiment, learn, and share insights with the team.
  • • Willingness to travel approximately 10% to support flagship events.
