- • Senior Manager of Experience Design leading the Admin Center of Excellence team within Forma at Autodesk, responsible for shaping and executing design strategy for administration, account setup, user management, permissions, onboarding, templates, and foundational workflows that enable construction teams to work efficiently and securely at scale.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include managing and developing a team of designers through coaching, performance management, hiring, and career development; partnering with Product, Engineering, Research, and Content Design to translate customer needs and business priorities into actionable design solutions; driving cross-team alignment to ensure scalable, coherent experiences; and championing user-centered design using qualitative and quantitative data.
- • The team operates within Autodesk’s AEC Construction division, supporting Forma—a platform that connects data and workflows across the full building lifecycle from design to operations. The Admin COE is critical for enabling customers to configure, govern, and scale their use of Forma across projects, teams, and partner organizations.
- • In this role, you will grow as a strategic design leader by influencing enterprise-scale product direction, refining team processes and collaboration models, mentoring designers at all levels, and delivering measurable impact through improved usability, scalability, and customer trust in complex B2B workflows.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years of professional experience in product design, UX design, interaction design, or related fields
- • 3+ years of people management experience, including direct management of product designers
- • Experience leading design for complex SaaS, enterprise, platform, administration, or workflow products
- • Strong portfolio demonstrating design leadership, systems thinking, and measurable impact
- • Ability to coach and grow designers at different levels of seniority
- • Strong communication, storytelling, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills

- • Competitive base salary range of $157,000 to $281,930 for U.S.-based roles, with potential to exceed based on experience and location
