- • The Senior Manager Sales Training role at Viatris Inc. is critical to driving sales effectiveness by designing and delivering training programs that align with therapeutic area goals and selling competencies, directly supporting the company’s mission to empower healthier lives globally.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include planning, designing, developing, facilitating, and evaluating training programs; conducting needs assessments; applying instructional design and adult learning principles; managing vendor relationships; collaborating with cross-functional teams (sales, compliance, legal, marketing, operations); leading launch planning and execution; and maintaining current knowledge of Viatris products, regulatory environment, and sales opportunities.
- • Viatris is a global healthcare leader formed from the combination of Mylan and Upjohn, dedicated to expanding access to high-quality medicines for approximately 1 billion patients annually, with a strong commitment to innovation, inclusion, and impact across the healthcare spectrum.
- • In this role, the individual will develop expertise in pharmaceutical sales training, instructional design, project management, and cross-functional leadership; gain influence over sales readiness and performance; and contribute to scalable learning strategies that support product launches and ongoing sales excellence.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- • Minimum of 4 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry
- • Previous corporate training experience required
- • Advanced working knowledge of adult learning principles, the ADDIE model, and project management techniques
- • Familiarity with blended learning methods, LMS, digital engagement platforms, and distance learning
- • Strong facilitation, presentation, and written communication skills
- • Ability to apply metrics and track KPIs for evidence-based learning strategies
- • Ability to manage multiple complex projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- • Willingness to travel up to 30% for live training events at Canonsburg, PA and off-site locations
