- • The Senior Manager - Salesforce Center of Excellence (COE) provides strategic, operational, and people leadership for VSP’s multi-org Salesforce ecosystem, ensuring platform health, scalability, and business value delivery across lines of business.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include directing technical planning (daily, quarterly, annual), identifying opportunities for technology enhancement, driving functional change through incremental improvements, and engaging in proactive and reactive issue resolution beyond the team.
- • The role involves informing stakeholders of high-level technical impediments, coordinating training for skill development, and ensuring deliverables are met within expected timelines while aligning with GTS and company technology strategy.
- • The team operates within VSP Vision’s enterprise technology function, collaborating across software engineering, platform development, information security, enterprise architecture, and infrastructure to enable cohesive implementation and continuous improvement.
- • The person in this role will develop expertise in enterprise Salesforce governance, multi-org/multi-cloud environments, vendor management, and executive stakeholder engagement, positioning them as a technology visionary capable of shaping platform strategy at scale.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- • Minimum of 3 years of management experience with responsibilities for hiring, training, assigning work, and managing performance of direct reports
- • Advanced knowledge of Salesforce solutions and experience working with Salesforce platforms in enterprise environments
- • Demonstrated experience leading a Salesforce COE platform team or large-scale Salesforce program
- • Strong understanding of Salesforce governance, SDLC, and release management practices
- • Experience managing vendor delivery models and cross-functional teams
