  • • As the Senior Manager for Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) at SEON Technologies, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the unwavering reliability, exceptional performance, and seamless scalability of our cutting-edge fraud prevention and AML compliance platform.   • • Your primary responsibility will be to architect, implement, and maintain the robust infrastructure that underpins SEON's services. This involves owning the entire incident management lifecycle, from proactive detection and rapid response to thorough postmortems and deep root cause analysis. By meticulously examining incidents, you will drive actionable insights to enhance system resilience and prevent recurrence, ensuring our platform remains dependable under all circumstances.
  • • A key aspect of your role will be to champion and implement Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Service Level Objectives (SLOs), and error budgets across all our services. This strategic alignment will ensure that our operational efforts are directly in sync with overarching business objectives, guaranteeing that we consistently meet and exceed customer expectations for availability and performance.
  • • Automation will be a cornerstone of your strategy. You will spearhead initiatives to automate repetitive tasks, streamline deployment pipelines, and accelerate recovery times. By leveraging cutting-edge automation tools and practices, you will empower the SRE team to operate more efficiently, freeing up valuable time for strategic initiatives and complex problem-solving.
  • • Collaboration is paramount. You will work hand-in-hand with our software engineering and Platform engineering teams to embed reliability and operational efficiency into the very fabric of our systems from the initial design phase. This cross-functional partnership will ensure that new features and services are built with scalability and resilience in mind, minimizing potential issues before they impact production.
  • • You will oversee and refine our system monitoring, alerting, and observability strategies. Utilizing industry-leading tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or similar, you will ensure that our systems provide comprehensive visibility into their health and performance, enabling proactive identification and resolution of potential problems.
  • • Managing the on-call rotations will be a critical function, ensuring that the team is well-prepared and supported. This includes maintaining comprehensive documentation, clear runbooks, and effective playbooks to guide the team through various operational scenarios, ensuring consistent and effective incident response.
  • • You will be a driving force for continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to optimize system architecture, refine capacity planning processes, and enhance our deployment strategies. Your strategic foresight will ensure SEON's infrastructure can gracefully handle our exponential growth.
  • • Ensuring compliance with stringent security, privacy, and regulatory requirements within our infrastructure will be a non-negotiable aspect of your role. You will work to embed these principles into our daily operations and system designs.
  • • Beyond technical leadership, you will be a dedicated mentor, providing performance reviews, and fostering the career development of your SRE team members. You will create an environment where individuals can grow, learn, and excel in their professional journeys.
